Margaret Mann
MD
A Physician Who Believes Care Should Be Personal
Dr. Margaret Mann is the co-founder, Medical Director, and CEO of Innova Dermatology. She established the practice in 2019 alongside her late husband, Dr. Daniel Popkin, to bring the highest level of dermatologic care to Sumner County — and to do it with the warmth and continuity of a practice that treats every patient like family.
Dr. Mann is a triple board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs and vein surgeon. She spent the first 15 years of her career caring for complex medical and surgical patients at some of the nation’s leading academic medical centers — including Washington University, Case Western Reserve University, and University of California Irvine — before bringing that expertise home to Hendersonville.
With over 15+ years of academic and clinical experience and more than 15,000 Mohs surgery and reconstruction cases performed, Dr. Mann is recognized as the only fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and the only ABVLM-certified vein specialist in Sumner County. She has helped thousands of women and men achieve healthy skin and natural beauty through a gentle, conservative approach.
Dr. Mann is a sought-after expert who lectures nationally and internationally on the latest advances in dermatology. She personally trains all Innova physician assistants, ensuring that every member of the team delivers care that meets her exacting clinical standards.
I opened Innova Dermatology to bring the highest level of dermatologic care to Sumner County — the same caliber of care I delivered at academic centers — but with the personal touch that a community practice makes possible.
My late husband Daniel shared this vision completely. His belief in compassionate, community-centered medicine is woven into every part of how we practice. Every patient we welcome is a continuation of the mission we built together.
